On July 27, 2012, Tostrud Law Group, along with co-counsel, filed a class and collective action lawsuit against University Medical Center of Southern Nevada.  UMCSN is the largest hospital in Las Vegas.  The lawsuit alleges that UMCSN was not properly compensating hourly-paid employees for their meal breaks.

On June 14, 2013 USDC Judge Andrew P. Gordon granted plaintiffs’ motion to issue notice to thousands of hourly-paid hospital employees.
